This Privacy Policy explains how Versa Solutions, operating as Symple (“we”, “us”), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.sympleonline.com, request a demo of HawkEye, or use the HawkEye mobile app.

Information we collect

When you book a demo, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects the name, email, and any details you submit to schedule a meeting. We also collect basic, aggregated analytics about site usage. We do not sell your personal information.

How we use it

We use the information you provide solely to contact you about HawkEye, schedule and conduct your demo, and improve our website and product.

Third parties

Demo scheduling is handled by Calendly, which processes your booking details under its own privacy policy. We share information only with service providers that help us operate this site and our business.

HawkEye mobile app

The HawkEye app for iOS and Android is used by employees of our retail customers. Accounts are created and managed by your organization's administrator — the app has no self-signup. When you use the app, we collect and process:

• Account information — your phone number (used to sign in), name, and an internal user ID. Authentication is handled by our identity provider, Clerk.
• Device information — a per-install device identifier and, if you allow notifications, your push notification token, so we can deliver alert notifications to your device.
• Review activity — when you review an alert or watch an evidence clip, the app records who reviewed it and when. Your organization uses this for its loss prevention workflow.

Face ID / biometric unlock is optional and happens entirely on your device — biometric data never leaves your phone and is never sent to us. If the biometric check fails, you can retry or use your device passcode; the app stays locked until it succeeds.

Video and transaction evidenceshown in the app is your employer's business data — CCTV clips and point-of-sale records captured in their stores under their policies. We process it on their behalf; questions about that footage, including its retention and deletion, are governed by your employer.

We retain your account information for as long as your organization keeps your account active. Our service providers include Clerk (authentication) and Cloudflare (secure storage and delivery). To request deletion of your account, contact your organization's administrator, or email privacy@sympleonline.com and we'll coordinate with them.
